We had a Third Place for Bloopers. They won a $50 Visa Gift Card.

We had a Third Place for 13 Months- 2 Years. They won a $50 Visa Gift Card.

We had an Honorable Mention for 9-12 Years. They won a $25 Visa Gift Card.

The lab where these took place is having some website issues, but as soon as we can see the other winners, I will post them here, too. Congratulations, everyone! Thanks for participating and voting! =)

And since we did not do the local portion of the Pawsitively Adorable as it was mostly my assistant’s dogs and family pets, and I had not posted the Pawsitively Adorable images, these are the other images we submitted. So they each received a 16×20 print from their session.

A Few Sneak Peeks

I can’t believe we only have a few days of July left. Where did the summer go? I feel like it just started. 🙁 But it also means that I’ll be shooting lots of seniors over the next couple of months! I love shooting seniors. It’s kind of a challenge for me because I want every one’s photos to be unique and show the senior’s personality and interests at this time in their lives.
Last week, I got to shoot 2 seniors, Jen and Brianna, and engagement photos of my cousin, Brian, and his fiance, Kelly. We shot Jen’s pictures in Lanesboro. We even had a little visitor while shooting by the waterfall. A muskrat! He didn’t seem to mind us at all, though.
I thought Brianna’s pictures might get rained out but it ended up being a gorgeous night. We ended up not getting to do her outdoor shots though. We ended up running out of daylight, so we are doing her outdoor photos this fall.

For the engagement shoot,we met at my aunt and uncle’s house in Winona and went to WSU and down by the lake. WSU was beautiful with all the flowers, pond, and the ivy on the buildings. After the shoot, my aunt, Sandy, made us supper. She loves to cook, we had grilled chicken, a spinach salad with strawberries and walnuts, fresh vegetables, 3 types of bread, and lemon raspberry tarts. Thanks for the awesome supper, Sandy!

August is completely booked and September and October are partially booked. If you are thinking of booking a fall session, do so soon.

Ryan

As with most (more like all) boys, they aren’t too excited for their senior pictures. Ryan was no different, but hopefully it ended up not being as bad as he thought. Here’s your sneak peek, Ryan. Thanks for tolerating me and of course the mosquitoes at the end!

P.S. Doesn’t Ryan have a great smile?

A little Late,…..

but here are some of pictures from my 4th of July. I had a great time enjoying the beautiful weather with a family picnic at my Grandma’s, taking a walk to the park with my cousins, the Stewartville parade and fireworks. I also had a wonderful night on July 3rd at 3rd-Annual Freedom Fest. Freedom is always a good time. This year they had some of the best fireworks, food stands, free watermelon, music from the Brown family, dog training, agility, and carting demonstrations by Ladd K-9, fun activities for the kids, Betsy Singer and Ken Quatrin of Faith Stories and KFSI, etc. You can check out the fireworks on the Christian Valley Center’s website.

Be sure to check out the festivities next year!

On a side note, Senior sessions start tomorrow, so be ready for lots of new sneak peek posts!
