Last week… the good and the bad

Last week definitely had it’s ups and downs, but thankfully ended on the up side. The 4th of July was a fun day spent with my family at my Grandma’s. We barbequed, hung out, watched a parade and of course saw some great fireworks. It was a great day. Then on Thursday, I had a photo shoot with a 3 yr old boy. The shoot was awesome, we did a Tom Sawyer/Huckleberry Finn theme. (I’ll try and get some of those up here later this week) The major downer of the week occurred on the way home from the shoot, my FAVE lens took a tumble off my backseat. At first I was not super concerned, then I was told there were wires exposed. :O Yikes! Making it worse, I had a senior boy shoot the next day, too. Now, I have other lenses but the wire exposed lens is what I tend to ALWAYS use. I was a little nervous about using a lens that I don’t use often, but the shoot turned out great! Here are some pictures of my 4th of July and of my senior shoot.

P.S. Also, be on the look out for my new sports website this week.
