Last week, I headed down to Cedar Valley Produce Auction near Alma, IA with one of my assistants, Jordan, and my Mom to check out their flowers. I’ve never bid at an auction before, but it ended up being pretty fun. Jordan and I bought 85 gerber daisies and 60 white filler flowers (not sure of the name). My Mom loved their hanging baskets, but just couldn’t get herself to actually bid on 8 baskets at once since they sell things in larger quantities. Maybe next time. Anyway, I thought I’d share some of what Jordan and Paige have been working for the last week. Can’t wait to see how it will look when all the seeds they planted today are blooming.
