National Adorable Children and Pawsitively Adorable Contest Winners {SE MN Photographer}

We are proud to announce we had 9 winners in the National portion of the Adorable Children and Pawsitively Adorable contests. The National portion of the contest took place at the lab and was judged by a panel of judges based on quality, appearance, charm, expression, and personality.

In the National Pawsitively Adorable contest…

We had First Place for Me & My Human. They won a $100 Visa gift card.

We had Second Place for Newborns. They won a $75 Visa Gift Card.

We had a Third Place for Dogs. They won a $50 Visa Gift Card.

We had an Honorable Mention for dogs. Super exciting as this is my dog, Maverick. We won a $25 Visa Gift Card.

We had an Honorable Mention in Buddies. They won a $25 Visa Gift Card.

In the National Adorable Children contest…..

We had a Second Place for Bloopers. They won a $75 Visa Gift Card.

We had a Third Place for Bloopers. They won a $50 Visa Gift Card.

We had a Third Place for 13 Months- 2 Years. They won a $50 Visa Gift Card.

We had an Honorable Mention for 9-12 Years. They won a $25 Visa Gift Card.

The lab where these took place is having some website issues, but as soon as we can see the other winners, I will post them here, too. Congratulations, everyone! Thanks for participating and voting! =)

And since we did not do the local portion of the Pawsitively Adorable as it was mostly my assistant’s dogs and family pets, and I had not posted the Pawsitively Adorable images, these are the other images we submitted. So they each received a 16×20 print from their session.

Welcome Home {Chatfield Minnesota Family Portrait Photographer}

With service members being station all across the world, some with safe jobs and some with the most dangerous jobs we would NEVER want to imagine., and their loved ones, who support their families, their wives, husbands and children while their loved one is serving our country are making an amazing commitment as well. I am so very grateful for the sacrifices that our service members and their families make for us.

This little one was just able to meet her Dad this month at 5 months old as he was deployed when she was born. I had so many favorites from the photos of her and her Dad that I couldn’t just choose one…

Twins {Southeast Minnesota Newborn Twin Portrait Photographer}

I love photographing newborns, and getting to work with twins is double the fun! This week Courtney and I got the pleasure of photographing my cousin’s fraternal boy girl twins. They were only my second set of newborn twins and I had such a great time! How cute do they look? We’re excited for them to come back in June for some portraits with their 2 big brothers and parents!

First Birthday {Southeast MN Baby Portrait Photographer}

Baby “K” turns 1! This little lady has the sweetest personality. She was hesitant of the camera at first, but quickly got into the photo shoot groove. Then in the middle of her first set, we had to evacuate the building due to a fire next door, so we had to finish her shoot last week after we got everything back into the studio after clearing everything out from the smoke and then having downtown Spring Valley flood all in the same day. She did great the second time around, too! A big thanks to her parents for making the trip to the studio twice and making 2 cakes. Enjoy your sneak peek!
