Halloween Night {Spring Valley Minnesota Children’s Portrait Photographer}

This year we are doing Halloween photos, again, with 100% of the proceeds going to Spring Valley Park and Rec, last year we raised $430. Please stop by for a photo and a treat. No appointment necessary, just stop in. I’ll post a photo of the set after we get it all set up. But here’s quick peek of some of the props and backdrop we will be using…

Engaged {SE MN Engagement Portrait Photographer}

Ooooh I am just tickled to share these pictures of Alyx and Kal’s engagement session! I’ve known Alyx since she was a baby and lived 2 doors down from my Grandparents, taking her and her sister to the pool, having taken her graduation photos what now seems like forever ago, working side by side with each other with her as an assistant for me since I started out, yearbook, the list could go on and on… Love her and all the great memories I have with her!

I was honored when Alyx asked me to do their engagement photos and I was excited to meet Kal after hearing so much about him from Alyx. Here are some of my favorite images from their engagement shoot downtown Rochester. It was such a perfect fall day… beautiful weather, fun photos, and supper at the Outback! Congratulations to you two!!

Courtney ’14 {Stewartville MN Senior Portrait Photographer}

I have no idea where to start considering this post is about my cousin…

I’ve been blessed to be able to make a career for myself out of my love for photography. However, my journey was started with a lot of help from family and friends, Court being one of them. You may have met her on photo shoots with me or have seen the many photos I have taken of her the last eight and a half years I have been in business….. She’s incredibly caring, fun, and beautiful...

Court, thank you so much for actually wanting me to take your senior portraits. Thank you for being an awesome little cousin. Thank you for putting up with me, thank you for being my model when I was first starting out, and thank you for always being there for me. Stay true to who you are, don’t ever change and don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. Lastly, know that I am always here for you and that I love you!!!
