Halloween at the Studio {Spring Valley MN Children’s Photographer}

I know these are a week old, but I wanted to share what the front room of the studio looked like (Thanks to my Mom, Aunt Karman, Cousin Court, and Kerin for their help and my Aunt Lynn and Uncle Marvin for borrowing us some of their decorations).  The back was also decorated but I forgot to take photos of that area.  We had a great time seeing all the kids in their great costumes and watching them play the games.  I’ve never really been into Halloween, even as a kid, but I really enjoyed it this year and am looking forward to  it next year.

Also, thanks to everyone who stopped in for a quick photo and donating $10 to Spring Valley Park and Rec.  I really appreciate your support and I  know they and the kids do as well.  The photos will be available to be picked up at City Hall on Wednesday. Staff and some of my cousins who helped out during the night.My Grandma and some of my cousins.  Our dog, Jackson, has been sprayed by a skunk a few times this year, so I told my Mom to have him be a skunk for the Halloween party his trainer, Carla Ladd, put on for her clients last week…. =)

Thank you! {Spring Valley Minnesota Photography Business}

Thank you EVERYONE for coming and checking out the studio on Saturday.  I hope you enjoyed seeing the studio and eating some fabulous Mexican food from El Carambas and cake from Gwen Ravenhorst, cookies from Jill Klepper, and bars from Lucille Daggett.

I especially would like to thank my staff who have worked tirelessly on getting the studio ready the last few weeks. There is no way this would have been able to happen without them.  You guys did an amazing job!

Also, a BIG thank you to my family and friends for your help and support.   Thank you so much for everything!

Lastly, congratulations to Chelsie V. for winning the $105 gift card and to Jackie K. for the $400 gift card.  I’ll be mailing  cards out to you this week.

Jackson {Southeast Minnesota Dog Photographer}

Yesterday, I was outside enjoying the weather and was checking on some grasses we had planted last fall behind our barn.  While back there,  I noticed the big dandelions we had growing back there.  While they are technically an annoying weed that many try to rid their yard of, I thought they’d make for a great backdrop for some photos of  Jackson.  I love how they turned out!    I guess this was Jackson’s way of telling me he was done with taking pictures…. =)

Prom Fun 2010 {Spring Valley Minnesota Photographer}

This weekend was my cousin Andrew’s senior prom.  I loved seeing everyone all dressed up and excited to have a fun night with their friends and creating memories that will last a lifetime.  It was a crazy day for me, I started taking photos at 9 am Saturday  and finished up at after prom at 5 am Sunday, but it was so much fun!  I hope everyone had a great time!
