Photobooth Fun with the Mundfrom Family {Spring Valley MN Family Photographer}

We did a quick shoot with the Mundfrom’s for the new poster with the activities and for some samples to show people at the benefit last weekend.  It was a blast and we can’t wait to do more next weekend at the benefit.  We hope to see you there to support Hunter and his family…  Here’s a link to the poster with the benefit information: A Benefit to Support Hunter Mundfrom

Adorable Siblings {Southeast Minnesota Children’s Photographer}

This week, we had the pleasure to have a session with these super cute kiddos. We also had a great time catching up with their Mom and Grandma at lunch after we finished up the session.

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedMr. “D” didn’t find taking pictures  quite as fun as his sister did.  😉 But he did cheer back up later.  undefinedundefinedundefined

Looking Forward to Summer {Southeast Minnesota Children’s Photographer}

I’ve had a few camera cards with family candids laying on my desk since this past summer,  knowing I needed to get them onto my computer still.   I finally got around to it on Friday.  Last summer, I got to spend my days hanging out with my little cousins every other week.  We spent a lot of time outside, swimming, having water balloon fights,  doing sidewalk chalk art, picking flowers, and probably the most time was spent up in our woods on a fallen tree.  They just loved climbing it and jumping off it into the wildflowers we have planted by it.  It’s pretty cool that they are the 6th generation of McGill-McGhie-Millet’s to run around our farm. Can wait to be doing this again in four months or so….

undefinedundefinedThese photos also make me laugh because I remember asking “C” “is it winter, today?”   To which he replied, “No, it’s summer”, I then said “are you sure, because I think  you may roast  today with the temp being 80 something and hot. ”  He looked at me like, “oh, man” and asked, “really?”.  “Yep!”  I believe he ended up putting his swimming trunks on at some point.  undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedThe picture above blows me away because he looks exactly like his Dad, which I usually don’t always see because I can see his Mom in him as well, but in this photo all I see is his Dad.  undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedLOVE her laugh, it makes my heart smile.  =)undefinedundefined

Rock ‘N Roll {Southeast MN Portrait Photographer}

After taking Mr. “C’s” portraits, I got the idea to make my uncle a collage with all his grand kids, so I had them all come in for pictures and for some pictures together since it had been 2 years since their last shoot together.  So much fun!

Mr “C” picked out his entire  outfit for these pictures back in November when we went shopping. He had been asking me to go the  studio to do these photos every day I’ve seen him since then to go do these photos, so he could finally take the outfit home and wear it to school.  He especially loves his hat and shoes, he wore them every day to school last week.

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined Ms. “K” was loving her outfit.  She instantly had a smile on her face after putting it on.  I got her jacket, skirt, leggings, boots and hair feather on Zulilly. Love this site!  Lots of cute things for great prices.  You can’t see it well in the photos but she has multi-colored fake nails on, too. I think she was most excited for those.  Her brother also picked out her bracelet and necklace for her.  undefined

Showing off her dance moves!  undefinedundefinedundefinedundefined Mr. “C’ also wanted to ham it up for me, again.   He was rocking out Bon Jovi and  Jason Aldean’s “Country Girl, (Shake it for me)”.   I wouldn’t be surprised if he was in a band in the future.  So, these photos will be used for his Valentines this year.  I got both of  his hats from Zulilly, too.

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined I also jumped into some of photos.  Can’t wait to get them printed and framed.  Thanks to Kerin for taking them!   undefinedundefinedundefined
